Archaeologist Highlights Delaware's Role in the War of 1812

The little-known yet fascinating story of Delaware's role in engaging British invaders during the War of 1812 will come to life in a public lecture entitled "The Rocket's Red Glare Was Here Too!" by Charles Fithian, Curator of Archaeological Collections in the Delaware Department of State's Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs. The lecture will be held on November 22, 7:30 p.m., at the Zwaanendael Museum in Lewes.
