Delaware Public Archives Launches Series Of Classic And Archival Films Starting April 2

April 1, 2005

Dover - As a part of its centennial-year celebration, the Delaware Public Archives presents a series of archival and classic films showing at the Delaware Public Archives, 121 Duke of York St., Dover. Some of the titles being shown free to the public throughout the year are:

"The Road is Open Again" (1933); "The Plow That Broke the Plains" (1936); "The Hidden Army" (1944); "The Army-Navy Screen Magazine - Highlights, 1943-1945"; "The Battle of San Pietro" (1945); "The Battle of Midway" (1942); and "The March" (1963).

These films have been provided to the Delaware Public Archives courtesy of the National Archives.
